Now the tour comes closer to the Palestinian neighborhoods near the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee offices. It occurs every Saturday from 3:00 to 3:30, and soldiers accompany the tour.   The tour was started by settlers living in Hebron.  They promoted the tour with the website www.hebron.com and now settlers come from all over.

The tour has an effect on Palestinians and their children.  It goes through the TIPH Park where children play, and this makes parents and children anxious.

" It's scary because soldiers would stop us from passing till they finish, it is kind of movement restriction, it scares our kids because they play sometimes in these areas. They are afraid to go anywhere during the tour.

Two years ago they threw stone at our house."

The tour gives legitimacy to the settlements because Internationals participate.  It has a negative effect on tourism in Palestine, and it furthers Israel’s plan to support colonization thru claiming Hebron as part of Jewish heritage.
